Obs:

Starting from January 2026, the consumer price index in Latvia and the European Union will be compiled in accordance with the updated European Classification of Individual Consumption According to Purpose (ECOICOP), version 2. The transition to the new classification will not affect the already published overall inflation indicators. The compilation of consumer price indices according to the previously used ECOICOP classification will no longer be continued, however, data up to 2025 from the previous ECOICOP version will be available in the archive.
